Powerboat Grand Prix

Few photos from UIM F1 H20 Powerboat Grand Prix of Qatar. I don’t know much about these races, I was just walking on Doha’s corniche and I found these boats going at it. I couldn’t miss the opportunity to take few photos with my A7S and 70-300G with the A to E mount adapter.

The City

“Cities are never random. No matter how chaotic they might seem, everything about them grows out of a need to solve a problem. In fact, a city is nothing more than a solution to a problem, that in turn creates more problems that need more solutions, until towers rise, roads widen, bridges are built, and millions of people are caught up in a mad race to feed the problem-solving, problem-creating frenzy.” ― Neal Shusterman

Lovely weather, a clear blue sky – perfect for a walk and some photos.

Moments

“For children, childhood is timeless. It is always the present. Everything is in the present tense. Of course, they have memories. Of course, time shifts a little for them and Christmas comes round in the end. But they don’t feel it. Today is what they feel, and when they say ‘When I grow up,’ there is always an edge of disbelief—how could they ever be other than what they are?” ― Ian McEwan

“When you are a child you are yourself and you know and see everything prophetically. And then suddenly something happens and you stop being yourself; you become what others force you to be. You lose your wisdom and your soul.” ― Jean Rhys

“No matter what happens, always Keep your childhood innocence. It's the most important thing.” ― Federico Fellini

“These are the quicksilver moments of my childhood I cannot remember entirely. Irresistible and emblematic, I can recall them only in fragments and shivers of the heart.” ― Pat Conroy
